VISA APPLICATION GUIDE
Depending on their nationality, foreigners who wish to enter Korea must either ① register for an Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA) or ② obtain a Visa from the Korean Embassy.
First, check if you are eligible for Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA)registration by following the instructions below, and if not, apply for a visa at the Embassy.

2. Visa Application
Foreigners who wish to apply for Korean visa should check the following information (A) according to the purpose and period of their visit, prepare documents and visit the Embassy during 8:00 ~11:30am on a working day to submit the documents. No advance reservation is required for the visit but visa applicant must visit and apply in person. If none of the options below are suitable for you, please visit the Embassy and ask the staff for guidance.
** If a foreign national, other than a Cambodian citizen, wishes to apply for a visa through our embassy, please provide additional documentation to prove your residence in Cambodia, including a copy of your Cambodian visa, a copy of the entry and exit stamps in your passport, and a copy of your Cambodian work permit card. In this case, for nationals of certain countries, visa applications through the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Cambodia may be denied if the period of residence in Cambodia is less than two years.

B. Visa Result
Visit KOREA VISA PORTAL WEBSITE (KOREA VISA PORTAL) on the expected date of the visa result received from the Embassy at the time of application and check the result. If your visa has been issued, you can print out the confirmation document and carry it with you when entering Korea.
C. Notice
- Prior to the actual document auditing, the documents may need 1-3days of preliminary inspection.
- If interview, additional investigation or documents are requested, the examination period will be extended.
- The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Korea restricts visa applications for a certain period of time to those who interfere with the administrator, who exercise power (yelling, threatening, etc.) or deceit (submission of false documents, false statements, etc.). In addition, if you violate the Immigration Control Act of Korea by falsely inviting foreigners or applying for a visa with false documents, please be aware that you may be subject to fines, imprisonment, or entry ban.
