The Graduate School of Korean Studies at the Academy of Korean Studies (AKS) is now accepting applications for the 2026 spring special admission program. We encourage individuals with an interest in Korean studies to apply.  

■ Programs Offered:

Master’s and Doctoral Degree Programs  

■ Fields of Study:

13 majors in humanities and social science majors related to Korea  

■ Eligibility:

- Nationality: Foreigners or overseas koreans  

- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree holders  

- Language Proficiency:  

  1. Applicants for Korean Cultural Studies:

     - TOEFL iBT 80 / IELTS Academic 6.5 / TEPS 301 or higher  

  2. Applicants for all other majors:

     - TOPIK level 4 or higher

-2026 Spring Special Admission (Enrollment: March 1, 2026): September 8 (Mon) – September 19 (Fri), 2025

-2026 Fall Special Admission (Enrollment: September 1, 2026): March 16 (Mon) – March 27 (Fri), 2026

■ Scholarship Benefits for International and Overseas Korean Students:  

- Full tuition fee during the entire period of study  

- Government scholarships to outstanding students
