Ambassador Geon visits Rafic Hariri University Hospital to mark the ongoing support for Lebanon’s emergency health system

Ambassador Geon visited Rafik Hariri University Hospital with the Lebanese Health Minister,m and WHO Representative to mark the ongoing support for Lebanon’s emergency health system. The event highlighted a $1M contribution to strengthen trauma care and crisis response.Korea’s support is enabling public hospitals like Rafik Hariri University Hospital to improve trauma care and readiness through new equipment, emergency planning, and staff training. These strategic investments aims of saving lives and prepare Lebanon for future health emergencies. The support from Korea also includes upgraded health facility mapping, improved disease surveillance systems, and cancer medication for 400 patients.
