Ambassador Santhush Woonjin JEONG met with Michelle Dilhara on the 1st of July and planted Na tree in the Embassy under "Go Green Initiative"

"Green We Go, Change We Make"

The Earth is suffering from Climate Change. Unless we act now there is no turning back. On July 1st, the Korean Embassy in Sri Lanka put a small step toward Climate Action by doing "Go Green Embassy initiative."

I joined the tree planting project in the Korean embassy planting an eco-friendly Sri Lankan national tree together with Earth Day Network  Ambassador of Sri Lanka and Award-winning Actress Michelle Dilhara. Many thanks to Ms. Dilhara.

This small step will hopefully pave the way for a big step toward a Climate Action to protect this earth, our home.

Korea successfully hosted the "2021 P4G Seoul Summit" last May and will continue to play a role of bridging advanced and developing nations to tackle Climate Change together.
