2021 Online Korean Speech Contest

​As a part of “2021 Korea Week (3rd – 10thNovember)”, Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Sri Lanka and the Kandy King Sejong Institute Center are pleased to announce that Korean Speech Contest will be in the form of video submissions.

Event information

- Submission period: 25th October – 3rdNovember

- Evaluation period: 4th November – 9th November

- Announcement of winners: Wednesday, 10th November

- Online awards ceremony: To be announced

Eligibility

- Any Korean learners in Sri Lanka, whose native language IS NOT Korean (Winners in the recent 3 years are not eligible)

Theme/Subject

1)Experience with Korea/ Korean Language / Culture 

                            Or

2)Introducing Korea to your friends such as Food, History, Culture, Korean People and Cities Etc.​

Content Length

- 2 minutes

* Please do not exceed the time limit

​

Content Format

- Video Format: MP4

- Video Resolution: 1080P (also known as Full HD)

* Video must be your own original work and created in Korean

How to Submit

- Submit your video (MP4 format ONLY) with the application form to kandysejong@gmail.com  (070-135-9682~3)

- Submission deadline: 11:59pm on Wednesday, 03rd November, 2021

* Only email submissions will be accepted.

- Performance

Awards

1st Place (1 Winner), 2nd and 3rd Place (2 Winners Each), K-Wave Awards ( 50 Winners) - Every Winner will be awarded a gift and a certificate
