OPEN BID INVITATION [the Provision of Security Service]

1. Project Details

● Job Title : Security Service of the Korean Embassy

● Duration : 2025.1.1. to 2025.12.31. (a one year contract)

● Scope of work : Security Guard Service for the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Korean Ambassador’s Residence in Colombo

- At least 6 security guards for day shift and 4 security guards for night shift

- 24/7 for 365 days, non-stop security services including public holidays

- At least two Shifts(07:00~19:00/19:00~07:00) per day (A shift should not exceed 12 hours)

2. Tender Information 

● Eligibility for submission of tender

- Tender should have valid permit/registration from relevant authorities for providing such services. 

- Tender must not have any ground for disqualification in related regulations, such as suspension of business and designation of fraudulent companies as of the submission date

- Tender must be able to maintain strict confidentiality about internal system Job Description

- The Security Guards Should

1) Check every visitor's belongings and inspect visitors' vehicles

2) Maintain every record of the security activities including visitors' names, their purpose of visit, security search for vehicles, belongings, etc

3) Follow other requests of the Korean Embassy, when it is related to the Security

4) Inspect Embassy and surroundings, while alarm system in operation

5) Report to the Officer in Charge of the Embassy regularly once a week

6) Report to the Officer in Charge of the Embassy irregularly when the Officer in Charge requests

- The Security Firm Should

1) Dispatch security guards with sufficient work experience

2) Give one month notice in writing prior to any change of the security personnel

3) Arrange security guards' shift which does not exceed 12 hours
