Guidelines for issuing E-7(Specific activities related to the shipbuilding) visa

In order to apply for the E-7(Specific activities related to the shipbuilding) visa, you have to get 'Certificate for Confirmation of Visa Issuance(CCVI)', which issued by the district Korea immigration office, first. After you get the 'Certificate for Confirmation of Visa Issuance(CCVI)', you can apply for the visa at the Embassy.

Related certificates of qualification and related career certificates(Exemption only for applicants who have submitted relevant certificates of qualifications / Until 2025.01.06.)that have been verified (Notarization) by the Embassy, which is necessary for issuing E-7(Specific activities related to the shipbuilding) Certificate for Confirmation of Visa Issuance(CCVI), must be submitted. Other documents which are necessary to be submitted might be different depend on the classification by industry, so please check with district Korea immigration office about the accurate documents lists.

Agencies or individuals who need consular confirmation (Notarization) from the Embassy to apply for E-7(Specific activities related to the shipbuilding) Certificate for Confirmation of Visa Issuance(CCVI), please contact with Consular section of Embassy by e-mail (consulsl@mofa.go.kr) with the form below.

○ Title of the E-mail : [Name of the agency or individual] Request for the notarization for E-7(Specific activities related to the shipbuilding

○ Contents of the E-mail

   - The name of applicants of notarization / Contact number

   - The list of documents for notarization

   - Other requests

After getting the Certificate for Confirmation of Visa Issuance(CCVI), please prepare the below documents for the visa application.

  ① A completely filled out visa application form(for those in possession of visa eligibility certificate)

  ② A passport size of photograph taken within the last 6 months(affixed to the application)

  ③ A valid passport(Valid for more than 6 months) and previous passports

  ④ A copy of biographic data page of the passport

  ⑤ Visa Eligibility Certificate (or Number)

  ⑥ Medical report for Tuberculosis diagnosis at designated hospitals ☞ Embassy designated hospital

    - valid within 3 months at the time of applying the visa

  ⑦ Visa Fee: Rs.14,400 (for less than 90 days) / Rs.21,600 (for more than 91 days)
