Greenhouse Gas Inventory and Research Center of Korea (GIR) in collaboration with the United Nations Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Secretariat annually organizes an intensive training programme for government officials and researchers from the Non-Annex I country Parties under the UNFCCC who are actively engaged in national GHG inventory preparation, transparency framework, national MRV, and climate change.

2024 UNFCCC-GIR-CASTT Programme will be delivered in Korea on 19 August - 6 September 2024.

[Who can apply]

1) Government officials, consultants and researchers from UNFCCC Non-Annex I countries who are involved in climate transparency related activities

2) Relevant experience in preparing GHG inventory or climate change response related field

3) Entry- to -mid-level professionals

4) Bachelor's degree or higher

5) Intermediate or advanced level of English proficiency

6) Intermediate IT proficiency (i.e. Excel, Power Point, statistics program)
