WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY A VISA AT THE EMBASSY OF THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA IN MALAYSIA? | |||
1. Applicants with Visa Issuance Confirmation Number (VICN) (Click here) 2. Malaysian citizens & Malaysian permanent residents (MyPR Card holders) 3. Long-term pass holders with multiple entry visas in Malaysia, who fulfill ALL the conditions:

c. For applicants holding student pass: You must be studying diploma or higher program at an accredited college/university, or studying at an accredited public/private school. (Those studying language, certificate, or foundation courses are not eligible.). Please be informed that the requirements outlines in Section 3(b) remain applicable even though you are a student. d. For applicants holding temporary employment pass as domestic helper/maid: You MUST BE accompanying an employer who requires special assistance (Please note that this visa will be issued under limited conditions only.) IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR VISA APPLICATION |

STEP ON HOW TO APPLY FOR A VISA | |
STEP 1 | ▶To fill up the e-Form via Korea Visa Portal to get the serial number.
▶[IMPORTANT:] After submission, (X) DO NOT close the window / Tab! If you do, you will not be able to download and print the form.

STEP 2 | Make online reservation. You are required to refer to the attached ‘User guide for online reservation (VISA)’. All link can be obtained from the PDF. |
STEP 3 | Prepare all documents according to the Checklist. Click the visa category below according to your purpose of visit to Korea, and you will see the checklist. |
STEP 4 | Submit your application to the Visa Counter at Embassy & make payment (Cash / Card) in MYR. |
STEP 5 | Document will be reviewed by the Consul. Additional document or interview may be requested if it is deemed necessary when reviewing your application. Please check your email frequently. |
STEP 6 | On the informed date, please check your result at the Korea Visa Portal. Expected date of result will be informed on your visa receipt. Guideline on how to download the Visa Grant notice will be given on your application day. Please keep it. You do not need to visit our Embassy to pick up your passport. Your passport will be returned after the verification on the same day of your visa application.
There is no more visa sticker in your passport. |
WHAT IF MY VISA IS DENIED? | You may check the result and reason of rejection on the Korea Visa Portal website, and we do not provide further details. Documents and fee submitted for visa application will not be returned. There is no appeal procedure at the Embassy. You only can re-apply after 3 months from the date of rejection |
