 Fee is non-refundable regardless of the result of application.

Official delegates invited by the government for a short-tem meeting, consultation, negotiation, exchange program, or event held by an international organization.

Participants of an official program invited by the local government of its sister city.

Scientists, cultural activists, or artists participating in an exchange program organized by a university or other.

Those who require urgent medical treatment and their caretakers; those who need to travel urgently for humanitarian reasons such as attending funeral service of an immediate family member.

Elementary, middle, or high school students and instructors, or university (graduate school included) students and instructors who enter Korea for short-term study or training.

Those with disability and their companions if necessary.

Spouses, children, parents, siblings, grandparents, or grandchildren being invited by family staying legally in Korea (those who have completed foreigner registration, and those who work at diplomatic missions, consulates, or international organizations)

China

  • Diplomatic officials and accompanying family (a spouse, minor children, parents, and parents-in-law) : A-1, incumbency: 3 years

  • Diplomatic officials and family (a spouse, children, parents, and parents-in-law) : C-3-1 multiple-entry visa valid for 1 year, with the period of stay of 90 days
