D-10-1: JOB SEEKER
n Period of stay: 6 months or less
n Single-entry visa valid for 3 months
n This visa requires a minimum of 60 points based on factors such as education, age, and Korean language proficiency,
and normally requires at least a bachelor’s degree.
Eligible Applicants:
① A person who is a former employee of a company listed in the Fortune Global 500 for more than 1 year,
in the recent 3 years.
② A graduate of a university ranked in the Top 200 of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings
③ A graduate of a Korean community college or higher.
Applicants referred to in items 1, 2, or 3 who plan to undergo training or seek employment in fields or occupations eligible for E-1 to E-7 visas.
(Training activities may include on-the-job training, such as short-term paid internships, at a company or organization in Korea.)
Fields qualified for a job-seeking visa:
(E-1) Professor
(E-2) Foreign Language Instructor
(E-3) Researcher
(E-4) Technological Instructor/Technician
(E-5) Professional
(E-6) Artist & Athlete
(E-7) Foreign National with Special Abilities.
Note: The E-6 Artist/Athlete visa only covers pure arts or sports and does not include adult entertainment work.
Important Note:
nFor foreign interns in advanced technology fields, a D-10-3 visa can only be obtained through a Visa Issuance Confirmation
Number (VICN) issued by the Ministry of Justice in Korea.
