2023 Global Youth Video Competition 

ㅇ Title: 2023 Global Youth Video Competition

ㅇ Theme: Women, Peace, and Safety in Cyberspace: Impact of Online Gender-Based Violence (GBV) on Women and Peace

ㅇ Rules and Eligibility Requirements

    - Youths 19-34 years old from all countries are eligible to participate.

    - The competition is open to individuals and teams: and each individual (or team) can submit only one piece of work.

ㅇ Video Genres: Not limited as long as the length does not exceed five minutes.

    - All types of video content, including documentaries, music videos, movies, promotinal videos, campaigns, and 

      animation, are welcome.

ㅇ Video File Formats: Submit a file in a video format, e.g., AVI, MP4, etc., with a maximum size of 600 MG. 

ㅇ Video Title: (Date of submission/YYMMDD)_Participant's name_Title

ㅇ Not Eligible Entries

    - Works that do not correspond to the theme of the competition or are not in the required format

    - Award-winning works from other contests

    - Works whose copyright has been sold or is under negotiation for sale to another or a corportaion

ㅇ Participation

    - Submit your application for and video via email to awp5th.2023@gmail.com

    - The application form and all other documents must be completed and signed before submission.

ㅇ Note

    - Make sure to complete all the sections on the application form

    - The detailed schedule of the competition is subject to change depending on the number of entries and level 

      of work that is to be decided by the judging committee.

    - The competition organizer shall dispose of all entries that have not won awards within three months from the end

       of the competition and fulfill the obligations to prevent leakage of all the entries submitted, except for the winning

       works.

    - If necessary, the competition organizer may take precedence in taking over all or part of the copyright of the 

       entries. In such a case, the organizer shall have a separate consultation with the creator of video.

    - Any plagiarized or imitated work, work submitted under someone else's name, etc., will result in disqualification, 

       if such work is discovered after the award has been given, the award and prize money will be rescinded and

       returned. 

ㅇ Competition process: Video submission via email →︎ Evaluation (internal screening and expert's evaluation) →︎

                                 Presentation of awarded videos during the conference on November 30, 2023

ㅇ Awards: Grand Award, Award for Outstanding Excellence, and Award for Excellence (total prize money is worth

               6.5 million won)

    - Award winners will be invited as panelists to the 5th international Conference on Action with Women and Peace

       for a youth session on "Women, Peace and Safety in the Cyber Space: Impact of online GBV on Women and Peace"
