Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Kingdom of the Netherlands

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea is organizing the event 'Quiz on Korea 2022' on 13 May (Fri.) at 15:00 at Leiden University.
This event is a quiz contest on Korean culture, history, traditions, policies, etc. The contest will be held in a survival format with a total of 50 participants. The winner will participate in the finals of 'Quiz on Korea' to be held in Seoul, which will be aired by KBS World on 9 October.

■ Date & Venue

- 13 May (Fri.) 2022, 15:00-17:00

- Leiden University (Telders Auditorium, Rapenburg 73, 2311 GJ, Leiden)

■ Eligibility

- Those who have sufficient knowledge about Korea and have a high interest in Korea; and

- Those who do not have and have never had Korean nationality, and neither have either of their parents;

※ Special requirements for the 1st place winner to participate in the finals in Korea

- Those who are over 18 years old; and

- Those who can speak both English and Korean (no English translation for the finals); and

- Those who can visit Korea between 28 August and 5 September

※ Participation is on first-come, first-served basis as there is a maximum of 50 participants.

- Questions are about the A to Z of Korea such as the language, culture, geography, and history

- For examples, search 'Quiz on Korea KBS World' on YouTube

- 1st place: Round-trip flight ticket for Korea and travel expenses for the finals
