Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Kingdom of the Netherlands

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea is excited to announce the 2024 K-Pop World Festival The Netherlands Preliminaries. The event will take place on a digital platform.

The three winning teams will qualify to advance to the finals held in Korea in October. Additionally, they will be invited to perform at the Korean Culture Festival, which will take place in Amsterdam on 7 September 2024.

※ KBS World will select the team that will participate in the finals in Korea.

1. Competition Category

  - K-Pop Dance Performance (Two teams to be selected)

  - K-Pop Singing Performance (One team to be selected)

2. Video Submission Deadline: Sunday, 28 July 2024

3. Announcement of Results: Wednesday, 31 July 2024

4. How to apply

ㅇ Film your performance and submit your application form and video(s) to dylee24@mofa.or.kr by 28 July 2024.

※ You can also upload video(s) on YouTube and send the link

  - You can work in teams or as individually.

  - Please cover the entire song(s) and dance to the original choreography.

  - The video(s) can be public or private. It does not matter.

  - There is no designated song, nor a limit to the number of songs.

    ※ It must be K-POP songs

  - The video must be recorded in one take without any editing.

  - It is recommended to shoot in a full shot.

6. Prizes

ㅇ The three teams will receive an honorarium after their performance at the Korean Culture Festival on 7 September 2024.

7. Important notice

ㅇ The three teams that win the Netherlands preliminaries will be invited to perform at the Korean Culture Festival, held in Amsterdam on September 7th.

(performance time: after 6PM)

ㅇ The authority to judge and select the final contestants for the final round of 2024 K-Pop World Festival held in Changwon, Korea rests with KBS WORLD.

ㅇ The final contestants will be invited by KBS WORLD and will depart at late September or early October
