The 102nd Test of Proficiency in Korean(TOPIK) will be held on Saturday, 18th of October, 2025.

■ Eligibility

   ㅇ Overseas Koreans and non-Koreans who do not speak Korean as their mother tongue

■ Place of Test

  ㅇ Location: Leiden University (Kamerlingh Onnes Gebouw (KOG), Steenschuur 25, 2311 ES Leiden)

■ Application Period : 14th of July ~ 28th of July, 2025

■ How to Apply

  ㅇ Online application only

  ㅇ Please submit your application by email to hykim25@mofa.or.kr.

    - Application (File name ‘Name_application’)

    - 3X4 Photo* JPG file (File name ‘Name_photo’)

    - ID copy (File name ‘Name_passport’)

    - Fee wire transfer receipt (File name ‘Name_receipt’)

※ When submitting your application, please refrain from using Google Drive.

■ Required Documents for the Application

1. A completed application form

2. An image file of your passport style photo (Ideal file format : jpg file (3x4cm ideally))

 ㅇ Your photo should be in PASSPORT/ID style as it will be displayed on your score report.

 ㅇ Please do NOT submit the front page of your passport/ID. This should be the photo of yourself, not the document.

3. A copy of your valid ID (Passport, Dutch driving license)  

4. A proof of your test fee payment

 ㅇ A captured or downloaded payment confirmation screen(image/PDF file)

    - Test Fees: TOPIK I  45.00 EUR / TOPIK II  55.00 EUR

    - Fee payment to :

※ Please ensure that international banking charges/fees are charged to the sender, not to the beneficiary, so that the exact amount of test fees are paid.

※ Make sure write your full name and type of test when you make the transaction.

■ Special Exam Arrangements

  ㅇ If you would like to apply for special exam arrangements, you should submit the following documents while completing the TOPIK online application.

    - Please leave the 'Registration Number' section empty in the form.

    - Certification of disability from NHS or doctor's written diagnosis

※ Please note that the requested special arrangements are not guaranteed as it will be considered by the TOPIK head office under the international TOPIK policy.

■ Cancellation

 ㅇ We will notify you by email and announce on our website if the exam is going to be cancelled due to unforeseen   circumstances/government restrictions, in which case your fee will be fully refunded.

   - If you cancel your exam due to personal circumstances, 40% of your test fee will be refunded.

   - You will need to cancel and request your refund by submitting the Cancellation and Refund Request Form no later than 3 October 2025. To get the form please contact to  ykyang09@mofa.go.kr.

※ Please note that all refunds will be issued in the week commencing 20 October, 2025.

■ Exam Results and Score Report

ㅇ The result will be released on 11 December, 2025.

  - Please note that we do not send you a printed or digital copy individually.

  - Your score report will be available in digital version only. Printed version is not available unfortunately.

  - You can check your score and print your report from the Official TOPIK Website which can be accessed on a computer, not on mobile devices.

  - TOPIK score is valid for two years. Within the valid period, you have unlimited access to your result online at the TOPIK Website.

 - For technical issues in printing your score report, please contact TOPIK Korean office at topik@korea.kr.
