Sejong Special Self-Governing City has been designated a “Culture City” by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and is the only official Hangeul Culture City in Korea. As part of its efforts to promote Hangeul culture and K-content, the city will host the 2025 Korean Speaking Contest for Foreigners targeting international residents and multicultural families. We encourage wide participation and interest in this event.

 ㅇ Preliminary Round Video Submission: August 18 (Mon) – September 12 (Fri), 2025

     Final Round: October 11 (Sat), 2025

■ Eligibility:

 ㅇ Foreign nationals and members of multicultural families

■ Format:

 ㅇ Preliminary Round: Submit a recorded speech video (document-based evaluation)

 ㅇFinal Round: On-stage presentation during the Sejong Hangeul Festival (in-person evaluation)
