Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Nepal

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Korea-Nepal diplomatic relations, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Nepal held K-Culture Immersive Digital Gallery at the Nepal Art Council from September 27 to October 1 2024 to showcase Korea's digitally reborn cultural heritage for the first time in Nepal.

In this exhibition, a total of three new technology convergence contents produced by the National Museum of Korea, "Endless Mountains and Rivers: A Prosperous World Unfolds in Nature",  "Royal Procession with the People" and "Journey of the Soul: Walking Through the Enternal Cycle of Birth, Death, and Rebirth" were presented.

At the inaugutation ceremony of the exhibition, the Hon. Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation of Nepal, Badri Prasad Pandey said that since the establishment of diplomatic relations, Korea and Nepal have built a stable and constructive relationship based on mutual respect and benefit, and congratulated the exhibition.

Marking the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Nepal, Mr. Tae-young Park said that he was happy to hold an exhibition on the cultural similarities between Korea and Nepal, including family-centered values, harmony with nature, and Buddhist culture, and that he hoped it would serve as an opportunity to deepen mutual understanding between the two countries.

This  K-Culture Immersive Digital Gallery is a large digital exhibition that combines Korean cultural heritage of the past with modern digital technology, and has received many favorable reviews from hundreds of visitors who visited the exhibition hall for providing a new experience of Korean culture.
