On Monday, August 11, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Nepal, Mr. Tae-Young Park, attended the completion ceremony for the K-Food training program for Nepali returnees from Korea. He congratulated the graduates and presented awards to outstanding participants.

This training program was conducted as part of KOICA’s project "Strengthening Stage-Wise Support System for the Stable Reintegration of Korean Returnee Migrants in Nepal (K-HaMi)(2022–2028)", targeting 14 individuals who had returned from Korea and expressed strong interest in starting a business or finding employment. The program focused on hands-on sessions, including Korean cuisine cooking techniques, ingredient knowledge, and hygiene practices. The KOICA project plans to continue supporting the participants as they prepare for employment or business start-up based on K-Food.

Ambassador Park expressed his hopes that the graduates would successfully achieve self-reliance and start their own businesses by building on their work experience in Korea and the skills they acquired through this program.
