Permanent Delegation of the Republic of Korea to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)

The 8th High-Level Meeting of the Governing Board of the OECD Development Centre was held at the OECD headquarters in Paris on 24-25 October 2022 under the theme "Strong, Shared, Green: Development we can do together" on the occasion of the Centre’s 60th anniversary. High-level participants discussed what roles members and the Development Centre should play in order to achieve sustainable development of the international community faced with the COVID-19 pandemic and geopolitical crisis, with a particular focus on green transition. 

Korea was represented by Deputy Permanent Representative Donghan Yang of the Delegation of Korea to the OECD. Actively taking part in the plenary discussions, Korea emphasized that the Development Centre should be further strengthened as a policy dialogue platform that connects both developing and developed countries.
