Starting October 4, 2022 (Tuesday) the Korean Consulate in Cebu will implement the online appointment system.
The online system will open on September 27, 2022 at 2:00pm(time in Philippines) for next week’s receiving of visa applications. Since then, you’re required to make an appointment be able to visit the Consulate, applicants can book their appointment through the 365 Overseas Korean Portal ( https://www.g4k.go.kr/en/main.do -> Reservation to Diplomatic Mission ) every Tuesday at 2:00pm. Without confirmation of visa appointment made through the system, your visit to the Consulate will be denied.

-For applicant filing as a group or family, you can book one slot and one of the applicant can submit their visa application.
However, for humanitarian (urgent purposes such as attending a funeral, death of a family member and etc.), you can visit the Consulate without an appointment. Kindly prepare required documents such as death certificate, medical certificate, flight ticket details and proof of relationship (PSA Marriage Certificate, LiveBirth or Family relations, Korean's certificate of family relations, etc.) to prove the urgency of the application.
Please note that depending on the purpose of visit, applications must be made at the time specified below. Reservations made at other schedule not related to the purpose of your visit will not be accepted. The applicant must take note of the following time in submitting the visa applications:
- 09:00 am ~ 9:30 am Accredited travel agencies
- 09:30 am ~ 10:00 am F61 Korean Spouse Visa and family visit of Korean Nationals
- 10:00 am ~ 11:00 am Individual visa applications (tourism or short term tourist visa applications)
- 11:00 am ~ 12:00 am Applicants with Visa issuance number (seasonal worker and etc)., business meeting, etc.
For visa applicants from Luzon and Mindanao based visa applicants must submit their applications at the KVAC in Manila. ( https://www.visaforkorea-mn.com/ )
Processing time is 10 working days (15 working days for F-6-1 Visa) however, please be advised that due to the bulk of visa applications we received per day the processing time might be extended. Please ensure that your visa is approved before your flights to avoid any cancellation and rebooking of the trip.
We also ask for your kind understanding for their might be a slight difference of the appointment time and the actual time in submitting the visa application depending on the situation of the application. In addition, if there changes related to the visa application and issuance we will notify the applicants through our website, it would be advisable to visit our website prior to the appointment schedule.
Please bring your appointment / reservation receipt and valid ID once you will visit the Korean Consulate in Cebu.
