Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea is pleased to announce that it will be holding the 2025 K-POP Festival on the 13th of June at PNCA, in Islamabad.

「2025 Changwon K-pop World Festival」 is the world's largest K-pop festival co-hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea, and KBS(Korean Public Service Media).

The winners of the regional preliminary round in Pakistan will get a chance to have an audition to step on the final round in Korea. their performances at the preliminary round at PNCA will be directly sent to 2025 Changwon K-pop World Festival headquarters. we, Korean Embassy, are ready to coordinate with the selection of amazing Pakistanis who are talented in K-POP and possess enough potential to perform in Korea.

The contest is consisted of two categories: K-pop vocal cover or K-pop dance cover. please make sure to choose only one category between two.  Applicants who are interested in this contest can apply for the competition by uploading a video file showcasing their talent to the link mentioned down below.

ㅇ Overview of the Regional Preliminary Round

- Date and time: 13th June 2024 (Fri) 6:30 PM

- Venue: PNCA(Pakistan National Council of the Arts), F-5/1, Islamabad

- Qualification: Those who can perform K-pop vocal cover or dance cover.

- Performance Video Submission Duration for Online Preliminary Round : April 15th (Tue) ~ May 2nd (Fri)

-Online Preliminary Round : May 5th (Mon) to May 9th (Fri)

-Announcemenet of the Shortlisted : May 12th (Mon)

*The result of the preliminary online evaluation will be delivered to each short listed contestant individually.

*Please note that Korean citizens cannot apply for this event.
