Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Rwanda

On the July 5th, the Government of the Republic of Korea and the government of the Republic of Rwanda signed a 1 billion US dollar Economic Cooperation Development Fund(EDCF). Ambassador JEONG Woo Jin and Minister of Finance and Economic Planning Yusuf MURANGWA attended the signing ceremony. This new framework arrangement replaces the previous one which had the allocation of $500 million for the period of 2022-2026. This new five-year agreement will support the Rwandan projects including transportation, healthcare and education.
