Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Singapore

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Singapore, in collaboration with the Korean Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (KOCHAM), hosted the 2024 Friends of Korea Day on Tuesday, August 5 at Korea Plaza. Launched in 2024, Friends of Korea Day is an annual event aimed at fostering networking opportunities between Singaporean public sector representatives and Korean business professionals.

This year’s event brought together key officials from Singaporean organizations such as Temasek, Enterprise Singapore, and the Ministry of Trade and Industry, alongside representatives from leading Korean companies including Asiana Airlines, LG Electronics, and LX International.

In his remarks, H.E. Ambassador Hong Jin-wook expressed his hope that the networks built through this event would lead to continuous communication and cooperation. He also encouraged all participants to serve as bridge builders for economic collaboration between Korea and Singapore.
