Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Singapore

On 11 September, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Singapore sponsored the “2025 KOCHAM Charity and Networking Gala Dinner”, organized by the Korean Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (KOCHAM Singapore). Now in its 16th year, the KOCHAM Charity Event is the largest annual platform for business exchanges between Korea and Singapore.

The event was attended by Ambassador Hong Jin-wook, Speaker of Parliament Mr. Seah Kian Peng, Senior Minister of State Ms. Sim Ann, SPD CEO Mr. Abhimanyau Pal, as well as leaders of the Korean community and over 400 Korean and Singaporean business representatives.

In his remarks, Ambassador Hong highlighted KOCHAM’s role in connecting the business communities of both countries and strengthening bilateral cooperation. Marking the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties this year, he expressed appreciation for the contributions of the Korean business community in Singapore and emphasized the significance of giving back to society.

The evening featured cultural performances celebrating 50 years of Korea-Singapore friendship and included the screening of a promotional video for the upcoming APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting in Gyeongju this October.

All proceeds from the gala were donated to the Singapore Association of Persons with Disabilities (SPD).
