The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Singapore successfully unveiled the Korea–Singapore 50th Anniversary Friendship Mural at the Opening Ceremony of the K-Food Street Festival.
The event was attended by Guest-of-Honour Mr. Baey Yam Keng, Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth & Transport, and Mayor of the North-East District, who delivered the congratulatory remarks, and featured a variety of cultural performances such as traditional Korean fan dance and taekwondo demonstrations, along with Korean street food tastings and a lucky draw event.
Ambassador Hong Jin Wook expressed his hope that the festival would further strengthen the friendship between the peoples of both countries and serve as a new starting point for the next 50 years of cooperation.
