Automated Immigration Clearance (Smart Entry Service) Now Available for 18 Countries

Starting 01 December 2025, the Ministry of Justice will expand the number of countries eligible to use automated immigration clearance from 4 to 18. This change is designed to shorten waiting times at immigration and make arrival in Korea faster and more convenient for international visitors.

Eligibility

• ○Anyone aged 17 and above holding passports from the following countries/regions:

Registration is required

• ○A one-time registration is required at Incheon Airport Terminal 1 (arrival counters A & F) and Incheon Airport Terminal 2 (arrival counters A & B).

• ○Travellers may use the e-Gates immediately upon successful registration.

• ○The registration remains valid till the passport expires.
