Visa application for individuals whose K-ETA applications are denied or under assessment

Criteria to apply for visa:

Nationals from K-ETA eligible countries should apply for K-ETA (www.k-eta.go.kr) to enter Korea instead of visa. However, they may apply for a visa through an appointed visa agent instead if:

1) The K-ETA application has been denied 

2) The K-ETA application is still under assessment despite applying 72 hours ago and the flight date is in the next 5 to 7 days*.

* If you applied for K-ETA 72 hours ago and your flight is less than 5 days later, please reschedule your flight. We would not be able to offer expedited processing for visa applications.

Documents required for visa application:

In addition to the basic requirements listed above, you would need to provide:

1) Proof of K-ETA denial if your application has been denied OR

2) Printout of the email confirming your K-ETA application that has been submitted 72 hours ago if your application is still under assessment and you need to travel in the next 5 to 7 days.

Important things to note:

1) If you are a national from K-ETA eligible country, you must apply for K-ETA first. If it is found that you applied for visa without first applying for K-ETA, your visa application will be rejected.

2) Only foreigners residing in Singapore with permanent residency status or valid long-term passes may file their visa application here.  

3) You must indicate on the visa application form your exact date of entry into Korea. If this information is not provided, the processing of your visa application will be further delayed.

4) If your K-ETA is found to be approved during the processing of your visa application, we will cancel the visa application and return you your passport. However, visa fee and documents submitted will not be returned.

5) We do not accept personal submission of application at our office. Please apply through appointed visa agents without exception.

6) Please note that the Embassy does not have access to K-ETA applications. Therefore, we will not be able to check on the status of your application or advise on the reason for delay and denial.
