Who needs to apply for Alien Registration Card (ARC)?
Foreigners who will be staying in Korea for more than 90 days (i.e work/study) are required to apply for Alien Registration Card (ARC).
Holders of A-1, A-2 and A-3 visa are exempted from this requirement.
When to apply?
Foreigners must register themselves within 90 days from their arrival date.
Where to apply?
Local immigration office or branch office under relevant jurisdiction.

Return of ARC
ARC must be returned to the Immigration Office / immigration officer at the departure airport or port upon final departure.
Failure to return ARC will result in fine.
