C-1 Short Term News Coverage Visa

*Please apply visa no more than 90 days before your scheduled departure date*

Eligibility to apply	1. A person who is dispatched from foreign newspaper, broadcasting channel, journal and other media to cover/report news. 2. A person who cover and report news under foreign media. 3. A person who stay less than 90 days to establish a branch in Korea.
Processing time	4 working days. No urgent or express service
Procedure for application	In-person submission (no appointment) or through an appointed travel agent (click)
Submission & collection hours	9am-11.30am, Monday to Friday excluding public holidays. STRICTLY no submission or collection after 11.30am.

No	Documents required	Note
1	Completed visa application form with one coloured passport-sized photo taken against white background.	Fill in your name as shown on your passport. Paste your photo on the space provided under Section 1. Application will be REJECTED if there is incorrect/missing information.
2	Passport with at least 6 months remainder validity (original and CLEAR copy)	Passport MUST be kept at the Embassy during processing. Please make necessary arrangements to your schedule.
3	NRIC/EP/Spass/WP/LTVP/DP/STP (CLEAR photocopy) AND a clear print out of the pass information using the SGWORKPASS app if your pass is issued with QR code. ※For work passes issued with QR code, you are required to use "SGWORKPASS" app to obtain the latest pass information. A CLEAR printout of the result must be submitted together with your application. ※Do ensure that your search is done within 1 week of your visa application.	Original will be returned upon verification.
4	International press card/document that verifies applicant’s employment status and overseas assignment.
5	One copy of re-entry permit to Singapore	Applicable to Singapore PR ONLY.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

1) Flight tickets and accommodation bookings NOT required for visa application.

2) We will NOT provide any status update(s) on your application via email or phone.

3) Supporting documents submitted for visa application will NOT be returned.
