Visa Application Process

• ■Visa application hour:  8:30 ~ 11:00 a.m. Monday to Friday (Except weekend and National holidays, Check National holidays☜) 

• ■ Walk-in Only

• 1.Fill out visa application form *Please download visa application form and fill it out completely in English before pressing the queue.

• 2.Prepare all the required documents and visa fee
  

• 3.Press queue number and wait for your queue (One application per one queue number)
  

• 4.Pay the fee and receive visa pick-up form
  

※ In case applicants are not able to visit the Embassy to apply for a visa by yourself, a representative can apply for a visa on your behalf. (Please see more information on 'Notice' article below.)

Additional Documents Submission Process

• ■Additional documents submission hour: 13:30 ~ 15:00 p.m. Monday to Friday (Except weekend and National holidays)

• ■ Walk-in Only

• 1.Check the e-mail from the Embassy
  

• 2.In case if your required documents are not complete, you have to visit the Embassy on 13.30-15.00 p.m. to submit additional documents .(Please note that the Visa Pick-up Form is required in this process.)

• 3.Press queue number 1 and wait for your queue (One application per one queue number)

※ In case applicants are not able to visit the Embassy, a representative can submit the additional documents  on your behalf. 

Visa Consideration Process

• ●( Click ☞ Notice) Minimum 14 days to process the visa after all required documents are completed. (Not include the day of application)

※ Tourist Visa consideration will take around 4 weeks.

Visa and Passport Pick-up Process

• ■Pick-up passport hour: 13:30 ~ 15:00 p.m. Monday to Friday (Except weekend and National holidays)/

• ■Walk-in Only

• 1.Check the visa status via https://www.visa.go.kr/ website (How to check visa status click☜)

• 2.After the visa result came out, please visit the Embassy on 13.30-15.00 p.m. to receive visa result and your passport back. 
  ※  Applicants must bring the 'visa pick-up form' and visit the Embassy to receive the visa and passport by themselves.
  ※  All Embassies of the Republic of Korea around the world will no longer issue visa labels, as of July 1, 2020. Holders of a valid visa can print out the 'Visa Grant Notice' document at the official website(www.visa.go.kr).
  

• 3.Press queue number 2 and wait for your queue (One application per one queue number)

Notice

1. All the visa requirements need to be in English or Korean only.

*In case of the translated document, it needs to be notarized from Thai Consular Affairs.

** In case of the official document, it needs to be notarized from Thai Consular Affairs though it was issued in English.

*** In case of the document issued from other countries, it needs to be translated into English and notarized by the embassy of the issued country.

2. All documents and paid visa fee will NOT BE RETURNED

3. In case the applicant has a representative to submit a visa application on his/her behalf, the power of attorney (the embassy's form) must be provided with the representative's copy of passport or ID card.

* In case of using a visa agency, the visa agency's business registration must be provided.

4. Duplicate visa applications are not allowed. The applicant must choose only one type of visas to apply.

5. Passport must be valid at least 6 months to apply for a visa.

6. Please make sure that all the required documents are still valid until the submission day (The validity is 3 months of its issuance).

7. We strongly recommend that applicants not book a flight ticket until they have received their passport. We will not take any responsibilities if the applicants cannot travel to Korea on the intended day.
