• Submission : May 22 – July 31, 2023

• Award ceremony and presentations : October, 2023
  (scheduled to take place at the Open Communication Forum Space on the first floor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building)

■ Topic

• The Five Mekong countries found in Korea & Korea in the five Mekong countries
  

• Cooperation between Korea and the Mekong countries 
  

• Episodes related to Korea and the Mekong countries
  

• Korea-Mekong cooperation projects or the Korea-Mekong cooperative relationship
  

• ※  Videos whose sole purpose is to introduce a country will be excluded
  

• ※  Videos must contain content related to exchanges or cooperation between Korea and the fiveMekong countries

■ Submission

• Videos should be submitted through the official website
  (www.spectory.net/mofa/emekongvideo)

■ Format

• Length : Less than 1 minute and 30 seconds
  

• Language : Korean, the languages of the five Mekong countries, or English
  

• * English subtitles are required for videos recorded in Korean or in the languages of the five Mekong countries
  

• All types of videos can be submitted including
  (movie, dramas, documentaries, promotion clips, animations, vlogs, interviews, talk shows, song covers, dance videos, and advertisements)
  

• ※ The videos must be posted on social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram,
      TikToK with the hashtags(#KoreaMekong, #MekongROK) 
  

• ※ The exact URL for the post must also be provided when submitting the videos on the official website

■ Award

• ※ Announcement : at the end of August, 2023 on the official website
  

• Winners will be invited to visit Korea for the award ceremony and presentations. The cost of airfare and accommodation will be covered for up to three people per team

• Winners living from abroad will be on a tour of downtown Seoul.
  

■ Caution

• All works submitted must be created by the participant, and there must be no legal problems with the use of portrait rights, copyright, intellectual property rights, sound recordings, property rights, rental rights, etc. (photos, images, fonts, etc.)
  

• Submitted works will not be returned, and awarded works may be edited and reviewed to achieve the purpose of the contest to be submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as final (result) reports and more
  

• It is impossible to get awarded multiple times, and the winner must submit additional documents required by the organization for the award. Failure to do so may result in the award being canceled
  

• If a thesis is found to infringe on copyright or any other rights and legal issues arise, disadvantages such as cancellation of the award, return of prizes and awards, incurring legal liability, and restrictions on future participation may occur
  

• Applicants are responsible for any copyright disputes and any issues related to the submitted work
  

• Submitted documents and videos cannot be altered
  

• Entries that were awarded from other competitions, or that have been copied or plagiarized, will be excluded from judging and awarding, and even after winning, the prize may be returned and the selection may be canceled
  

• Judging scores will be kept private, and the judging results cannot be challenged
  

• If the entrant does not provide contact information or cannot be contacted due to errors, the award may be canceled
