The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Tajikistan is accepting applications for the position of 1 Officer for Korean–Tajik Interpretation & Translation / Public Diplomacy Support. CVs and other required documents are to be sent to the mentioned e-mail no later than 30.09.2025.
1. Job Responsibilities:
1) Official interpretation between Korean and Tajik during official meetings and events;
- Translation of official documents, reports, correspondence between Korean and Tajik.;
- Linguistic and administrative support during official visits and delegations;
2) Assisting in organizing and coordinating public diplomacy and cultural events;
- Liaising with relevant Tajik authorities and other institutions;
- Preparation of documentation such as official notes, reports, permits, etc.;
- General office administrative tasks, including use of Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
2. Essential Requirements:
- Higher education: Bachelor’s degree above
- Tajikistani citizenship
- Native in Tajik with excellent proficiency in Korean
- Strong sense of responsibility, conscientiousness, and integrity
- Understanding of diplomatic and business etiquette

3. Working Conditions:
- Working hours: 08:30–17:30 (Monday to Friday), including a lunch break from 12:30 to 13:30. Flexibility is expected for official duties beyond regular hours.
- Salary: Negotiable, based on qualifications and interview results.

- Scanned copy of Korean language proficiency certificate(s);
- One sealed and signed letter of recommendation;
