Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the United Republic of Tanzania

The Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Mizengo Peter Pinda, visited the Republic of Korea from 6 to 9 September 2009, on the invitation of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea, H.E. Han Seung-soo.  He is accompanied by the Minister for Agriculture, Hon. Stephen Wasira, the Minister for Agriculture, Zanzibar, Hon. Burhan Haji,  the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Seif Iddi. 

During the visit, Prime Minister Pinda had a bilateral meeting with his counterpart and paid a call to H.E. Lee Myung-bak, President of the Republc of Korea. 

With regard to the recently launched "Kilimo Kwanza (Agriculture First)" Policy of Tanzania, the visit focused on agriculture --- the Prime Minister visited the Korea Rural Deveopment Authority, the Korea Rural Community Coorporation and the Samaul Undong Training Center.
