The head of state signed a decree to that effect on Friday, the presidential press service reported.
In November 2008, the limit on the number of employees working at the secretariat was 550.
The new decree foresees that the head of the Presidential Secretariat has two first deputies, including one first deputy head representing the president in government.
According to the document, the secretariat head has seven deputies, including one representing the head of state in parliament, another representing him in the Constitutional Court, and also the presidential envoy on security during the Euro 2012 European Football Championship in Ukraine.
The secretariat's structure also includes the president's office, 23 various services, and the presidential press secretary.
