Important Visa Notice(Visa Grant Notice)
Effective February 24, 2020, the Republic of Korea will no longer issue sticker-type visa on a passport. Visa information is now electronically registered into the visa information system after approval.
● In addition, visa applicants will now be issued a ‘Visa Grant Notice’, which contains applicants’ personal information and visa information. This document can be accessed and printed at Korea Visa Portal(visa.go.kr) by entering your visa and passport information.

Status of Stay: Type of visa an applicant applied for
Period of stay: Maximum period of stay one can stay in Korea with this visa
Date of Issue: Date when the visa has been issued
Number of Entries: Single(valid for one single entry), Double(valid for two entries), Multiple(valid for multiple times as long as the visa is valid)
Validity Period of Visa: Very last date one can enter Korea with this visa
- All visa-holding foreigners MUST present the ‘Visa Grant Notice’ during immigration process, for the purpose of identity verification.
