Our consulate processes visa applications within 14 business days.
- We only accept visa applications from residents in the DFW (Dallas–Fort Worth) area.
- Only one applicant per appointment is allowed. Each person must visit individually.
- All applications must be submitted in person.
- Appointments are required in advance.
1) Visa Application Form (Attached)
2) Passport Photo
- Must be in color, U.S. passport-sized, and taken within the last 6 months
- Must be attached to your visa application form
- Please attach your photo to your visa application form.
3) Original Passport & One Copy
- Passport must be valid for more than 6 months
- Non-U.S. citizens must also submit:
Original valid U.S. long-term visa or U.S. Permanent Resident Card (Green Card)
Note: U.S. B1/B2 visitor visas are not accepted.\
Additional note for Iranian, Syrian, and Sudanese nationals:
You may be required to submit bank statements or U.S. tax reports covering more than one year or at least the past three months.
4) Certificate of Admission. Must be issued by the dean or president of a university in Korea that is certified by the Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Education
5) Copy of Business Registration Certificate. The 사업자등록증 (Business Registration Certificate) issued by the university in Korea
6) Visa Fee (Cash)
7) Additional Documents (If Applicable)
Depending on the university’s category or the applicant’s individual circumstances, the following documents may be required:
- Tuition payment receipt
- Round-trip flight ticket
- Bank statements for the past 3 months
- Verification of enrollment
If additional documents are required, our consular officer will contact you during the review process.

Please make sure to check the address before making a reservation. A valid address within the DFW area must be shown on your driver’s license or state ID.
