[Important] Essential required information needed on the COVID-19 test result documentation
□ Due to the spread of a new highly transmissible COVID-19 variant worldwide, all foreign visitors entering the Republic of Korea and applicable ROK nationals* are now required to provide a negative PCR test result issued within 72 hours of the departure date.
* All ROK nationals arriving from Britain and South Africa and those who coming to the ROK with a quarantine exemption certificate for important business affairs are required to provide negative COVID-19 test(PCR) documentation.
□ The test result documentation must include the following information.
ㅇ traveler’s name(as it appears on your passport)
ㅇ traveler’s date of birth(or passport number or ID card number)
ㅇ test type
* The types of the test which are acceptable include NAATs, PCR, LAMP, TMA, SDA, and NEAR. An antigen/antibody test such as RAT and ELISA as well as an at-home-test are not acceptable.
