Quarantine Exemption Guideline Changes for entering Korea Notice (Updated April 1st, 2022 kst)
The Quarantine Exemption System implementation will commence on April 1st for those who have not registered their COVID19 vaccination in Korea and was vaccinated from overseas.
Vaccination Requirement and Quarantine Exemption Period Limit:
➔Fully Vaccinated: Received all of the recommended inoculation of the WHO approved COVID19 vaccine + after14 days (can travel up to between 15-180 days post vaccination or must receive additional booster shot if traveling after 180 days post-vaccination)

➔To be exempt from quarantine, it is required for the individual to directly input the vaccination history into the quarantine information pre-entry system (Q-CODE)

All overseas entrants must have 2 PCR COVID19 Test and 1 Rapid Antigen Test
1.1st PCR Test: 48hrs prior to departure date 00:00HR,
2.2nd PCR Test: Within 1 day after arrival
3.Rapid Test: Within 6-7days after arrival
Unvaccinated travelers entering Korea:
➔Unvaccinated travelers will be required to quarantine for 7 days.
➔The Quarantine Exemption Certificate will continue to be issued for unvaccinated applicants requiring to visit Korea for funeral attendance only by the Diplomatic Overseas office overseeing the jurisdictional service area.
➔Embassy of Korea in the USA, D.C. Consular Office services the VA, MD, DC, WV area
