Additional rules about Quarantine Exemption certificate

All Koreans and foreigners entering Korea from 2021.12.3. (Fri) to 2022.1. 6 (Thu) are required to quarantine for 10 days regardless of 'nationality' or 'vaccination completion'.

- At the time of entry from 2021.12.3. (Fri) to 2022.1.06 (Thu), the validity of the previously issued Quarantine Exemption Certificate for overseas inoculation is not valid, and quarantine exemption due to completion of domestic inoculation is not valid

Exception) Quarantine Exemption for up to 7 days for attending funerals (funeral ceremony of spouse, direct descendants of the spouse, direct descendants of the spouse, the spouse's siblings) and some business trips abroad

- Quarantine for Korean nationals / Long-Term Foreigners : 10 days self-quarantine at their own residence

- Short-term foreign residents: 10 days in a government-managed quarantine facility (Own cost)

- Self-quarantine is possible if a family in a relationship with a long-term foreign residents/Korean is confirmed (within third cousin, direct descendant)
