Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in San Francisco

The Korean Consulate in San Francisco will be operating by appointment only beginning December 7th, 2020. No walk-ins will be accepted under any circumstance for the safety of visitors and employees.

You must make an online appointment prior to your visit. Appointments can be made up to 30 days in advance.

We open the appointment time slots at 10am every 1st and 16th of each month. 

If the date falls on a weekend or holiday, we will open the slots the next business day.

How to make an Online Appointment :

Visit the website(https://www.g4k.go.kr/en/main.do)

※ The Online Appointment Portal works on Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mobile, etc.

→ Click "Reservation to Diplomatic Mission" bottom left

→ Click "Make a Reservation"

→ Non-Member Log-in (SMS or EMail LogIn) 

→ Select a Diplomatic Mission (Choose North America, United States, "Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in San Francisco")

→ Select "Purpose of Visit", and "Date and Time of Visit"

→ Type your passport no. for Identification No. 

→ Print out or bring digital copy(screenshot) of the confirmation page and show it when you visit the Consulate

※ Please note that we do not accept email or phone appointment requests anymore. We have created an easy online portal for your convenience.

※ It is always better to bring some cash when you visit our office as there are many applications that cannot be paid by card. 

※ Visitors picking up passport and visas can walk in without an appointment.
