Earthquake in Piedmont

4.0 earthquake 1 km north of Piedmont reported by USGS. Aftershocks reported at 1.7, 1.8 and 1.4. No reports of damage. Preliminary information is Hayward fault. BART is running.

Additional information by the SF Department of Emergency Management,

-Earthquake was minimal (magnitude 4.0)
-No report of significant damage (only known disruption was the train system but trains are back on schedule now)
-no damage to the Korean community
-No significant impact to SF, thus no emergency management measures have been taken.
