One of the Game Changers is Eun Sun Kim who is the first woman music director at a major American opera company, the San Francisco Opera.  

This year, the Asia Society will honor four local Bay Area innovators in the fields of medicine, technology, arts & culture, and education. 

Including Eun Sun Kim, the Asia Society are also honoring:

Tsu-Jae King Liu, first woman dean of engineering at the University of California, Berkeley

Eun Sun Kim, first woman music director at a major American opera company, San Francisco Opera

Zheng Chongbin, light & space installation artist, currently on display at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco
