Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Seattle

The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Seattle and Radio Hankook are excited

to announce the 2021 K-Pop World Festival Seattle Preliminaries, 

a hybrid competition to select the TWO performances

that will represent Seattle in the US Regional Semifinal.

​1. Date/Time : June 15/22/29.2021 at 2:00 pm

 2. Eligibility : The contest is open to residents and citizens of the United States. 

1) Applicants and BOTH parents who currently hold

or have ever held Korean citizenship are NOT eligible to participate

(※ Eligible if only ONE of your parents holds Korean citizenship)

2) Applicants under the age of 18 are required to submit parents’ signed consent

to participate with attached consent letter and ID copies.

3) Vocalists must be a solo act or duet

4) Performers may not exceed 5 members in the group/team

3. Deadline for submissions : Friday, May 21, 2021 

To participate in the Seattle Preliminaries,

 vocalists must sing a K-pop song, and performers must showcase a K-pop piece.
