• 대회 개요

• 행사명 : 2026 세계한인입양동포대회(Overseas Korean Adoptees Gathering, OKAG)

• 기간 및 장소 : 2026.5.18.(월) - 5.22.(금), 4박 5일 / 인천, 서울, 파주 등

• 초청 대상 : 18세 이상 입양동포 중 아래 그룹 A, B, C 기준에 해당하는 자

• 초청 인원 : 약 90여명

• 그룹명	자격조건
  A (리더)	다음 요건을 모두 충족하는 자 입양동포 당사자가 설립·운영하는 단체의 현직 대표자 또는 임원 해당 단체의 정회원으로 등록되어 있는 자 1개단체당 4명이내 선발
  B (모국 첫 방문자)	다음 요건을 모두 충족하는 자 대한민국 방문 경험이 없는 자(공관별로 증빙자료 제출요청 가능) 본 대회의 목적(정체성 회복, 모국 이해, 교류 증진)에 부합하는 참가 동기를 가진 자 대회 종료 후 거주국 내 입양동포 단체 또는 커뮤니티 활동 참여 의사가 있는 자
  C (연사/강연자)	다음 요건 중 하나 이상에 해당하는 자 입양, 정체성, 심리상담, 리더십, 조직운영 등 관련 분야의 전문성을 보유하고 특강 또는 워크숍 진행이 가능한 자 (예: 공무원, 심리상담가, 리더십 트레이닝 강사, 연구자 등) 입양동포 단체의 전(前) 대표자 또는 전임 임원 등 과거 리더 자격으로 단체 운영 및 지도 활동 경험이 풍부하며, 본 대회 프로그램에 연사 또는 멘토로 참여하여 지식과 경험 공유가 가능한 자

• 그룹B 신청자는 모국 첫 방문 사실 확인을 위해 관련 자료(출입국 기록 등) 제출을 권장.

• 신청 내용이 사실과 다르거나 허위로 판명될 경우, 아래와 같은 불이익이 발생할 수 있음.

• 불이익: 참가자 선청 취소, 왕복 항공료 미지원, 향후 OKA 행사 참가 제한 등

• 입양동포 자녀 등은 '차세대동포 모국 초청연수' 등을 통해 방한 가능

• 신청 기간 : 공고일 ~ 2026.3.2.(월) KST 18:00까지

• 신청 방법 : 1단계, 2단계를 모두 거쳐야 신청이 완료됨

• 1단계 : 참가 신청서 원본을(자필서명 포함) 시애틀총영사관 동포 이메일(seattled4@mofa.go.kr)로 제출

• 2단계 : 공관에 제출한 서류 사본을 이메일(okafuture@korea.kr)로 OKA에 송부

• 제출서류 (영어 혹은 한국어로 작성)

• (필수) ①참가신청서, ②다큐멘테이션 릴리즈, ③책임면제서, ④개인정보 수집 및 이용 동의서 [첨부파일 참고]

• (필요시) B그룹 - 출입국기록 확인서 등, C그룹 - 경력증명서, 자격증

• 선발결과 공지 : 2026.3.16.(월) (관할 공관 경유 및 개인 이메일 통보)

• 항공료 : 왕복 항공료(일반석 기준) - 자세한 내용은 첨부파일 공고문 확인

• 숙박 : 2인 1실 제공(조식 포함)

• 식비 : 1일 3식(행사 기간에 한하며, 개인사용 경비 제외)

• 문화체험 등 각종 활동비 : 각종 역사·문화체험 관련 입장료 및 부대경비 전액 지원

Participation Announcement

Overview

• Event Title: Overseas Korean Adoptees Gathering (OKAG)

• Date & Venue: May 18 (Mon) - May 22 (Fri), 2026 / Incheon, Seoul, Paju, etc.

• Eligible Participants: Overseas Korean adoptees aged 18 or older who meet the criteria of one of the following Groups A, B, or C.

• Number of Participants: Approximately 90 persons

• Group Categories	Eligibility
  A (Leaders)	Applicants must meet all of the following conditions: Current representative or executive of an organization founded and operated by overseas Korean adoptees Registered full member of the organization Up to 4 participants(maximum) may be selected per organization
  B (First-time Visitors to Korea)	Applicants must meet all of the following conditions: No prior visit to the Republic of Korea (relevant documents such may be requested by consulates) Motivation aligned with the objectives of the program (identity recovery, understanding of Korea, and strengthening exchanges) Willingness to participate in adoptee organizations or communities in their country of residence after the program
  C (Speakers / Lectures)	Applicants must meet at least one of the following conditions: Professionals with expertise in adoption, identity, psychological counseling, leadership, or organizational management who are able to conduct lectures or workshops (e.g., public officials, counselors, leadership trainers, researchers) Former leaders (former presidents or executives) of adoptee organizations with extensive experience in organizational management and mentoring, who can participate as speakers or mentors and share their knowledge and experience

• Group B applicants are encouraged to submit supporting documents (e.g., immigration records) to verify their first visit to Korea, and if the application information is found to be false or inaccurate, the following disadvantages may apply : Cancellation of selection, No support for round-trip airfare, Restriction from future OKA programs

• Children of adoptees(DoKADs) may participate in Korea visits through other programs such as the "OKFriends Homecoming Camp (organized by Overseas Koreans Coopertation Center (OKOCC))."

• Application Process

• Period: From the date of announcement until March 2, 2026 (Mon), 18:00 (KST)

• Method: Both Step 1 and Step 2 must be completed.

• Step 1: Submit the original signed application from (with handwritten signature) by email to Korean Consulate in Seattle (seattled4@mofa.go.kr) *who reside in Washington, Oregon, Montana and Idaho

• Step 2: Send copies of the submitted documents by email to OKA (okafuture@korea.kr)

• Required Documents (in English or Korea)

• (Mandatory) ①Application Form, ②Documentation Release, ③Liability Release, ④Consent to Collection and Use of Personal Information [Attachment]

• (If applicable) Group B - Immigration record or proof of first visit / Group C - Proof of career, certificates

• Announcement of Results: March 16, 2026 (Mon) (Through consulates and individual email notification)

• Financial Support

• Airfare: Round-trip (economy class)

• Accommodation: Shared room (2 persons per room) with breakfast

• Meals: 3 meals per day during the program period - personal expenses are not covered

• Program-related costs: All entrance fees and program-related costs fully covered
