2021 GKS Program for Undergraduate Degrees

In 2021, Korean Government's Global Korea Scholarship program aims to invite 220 international students from 72 countries who wish to pursue a undergraduate level degree or research in Korea.

To be selected as a GKS (KGSP) grantee, the applicant must successfully pass the 1st round of selection process set by the Korean Embassy.

※ Selection Schedule

o Application Period: 12th - 16th October 2020 (Submit to the Korean Embassy)
   ※ The application submitted by e-mail will not be accepted. Please visit the embassy to submit.

o [1st Round: Selection by the Korean Embassy]: 19th - 23rd October 2020
   Document Review and Interview

   - The applicants who pass through the document review will have an interview at the end of October
     And will be notified individually beforehand.
   - The successful applicants of the 1st round will be announced at the beginning of November.

o [2nd Round: NIIED Selection]: Middle of November 2020 (NIIED Selection Committee)
   - The announcement of the Results of the 2nd Selection : End of November 2020

o [3rd Round : University Selection] : 30th November - 18th December 2020
   - NIIED announces the final successful candidates : 8th January 2021
