Visa Information for Palestinian Nationals

  • All Palestinian nationals who wish to visit Korea must obtain a visa before entering Korea. 

  • Each applicant must visit the Representative Office him/herself to apply for the visa. 

  • The visa takes a month to be processed.

General Requirements for Visa Application

All documents issued from the Palestinian government, such as the Non- Conviction Certificate and Business Registration, must be notarized from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in Palestine.

  • A valid passport & copy of a passport. (Your passport must be valid for the duration of your visit and valid for at least 6 months.)

  • A completed visa application form in CAPITAL LETTERS (https://overseas.mofa.go.kr/ps-ar/index.do)

  • A passport size photo (2” x 2” (3x4cm) color, white background)

  • Non-conviction certificate by Ministry of Justice in English (For Gaza applicants, both from West bank and Gaza)

  • Bank Statement (in English, at least last 3 months history)

  • Travel Insurance covers COVID-19 treatment

  • Invoice for Accommodation Booking in Korea

  • Fees: $40 (short term visits), $60 (Student visa) *ACCEPT USD CASH ONLY. We do not give change. Please pay the exact amount. 


  • Additional documents may be required by the Consul's decision

  • There will be a consular interview. The interview schedule will be informed to visa applicants after the submission of visa application. 

  • WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY DOCUMENTS VIA EMAIL OTHER THAN REQUIRED BY THE EMBASSY TO VISA APPLICANTS

Short- Term

business

  • Documents proving the fact that the purpose of his or her visit to Republic of Korea is on business

  • Official invitation letter from Korea with the name and passport number of applicant, and the reason of the visit

  • A copy of business registration from the Korean business partner

  • A copy of business registration certificate of your company, from the Palestine chamber of commerce and industry in English

  • Copies of business record between Korean companies, such as bill of lading, in last one year

  • Copies of remittance slip that match with above-mentioned documents (i.e. the current business contract or bill of lading between Korean company)

Short-Term

visit

  • Attendance of various events, conference, etc

  • Official invitation letter with the name and passport number, date of arrival and departure of attendee

  • Documents related to the establishment of the institute holding the event (business certificate/ corporation certificate, etc.)

  • Documents related to the invitee ( ID card, letter of employment)

  • Documents related to the itinerary, tickets, bank/ financial statement (in English) and address in Korea

  • Employment Certificate of Applicant

  • If applicant is CEO, there needs a Business License by PA

Tourist

visa

  • Travel plan (Hotel reservation, schedule, plans, etc)

  • Itinerary of the flight ticket

  • Proof of employment (employment letter)

  • Invitation from Korea with ID of a host (if applicable)

Student

visa

  • Enrolled in associate’s/ bachelor’s/ master’s/ doctoral degree in a college, undergraduate/ graduate college establishment.

  • Acceptance letter

  • Original copy of document indicating final level of education

  • Original copy of document proving your financial ability to support yourself (one-year tuition fee and the living expense) –

when submitting a parent’s bank statement, family relation certificate is also required.

Exchange

Student

  • For an exchange program at a college, undergraduate/ graduate college establishment.

  • Acceptance letter

  • Recommendation letter issued by the head of your university

  • Original copy of document proving your financial ability to support yourself (one-year tuition fee and the living expense) –

when submitting a parent’s bank statement, family relation certificate is also required.
