F-1-D Workcation (Digital Nomad) Multiple Visa

(from 01 JAN 2024 - trial implementation for 1 year)

Eligibility

You are eligible to apply for this visa if you are:

• ·A high-income foreigner who desires to enter and stay in Korea for a long period of time while travelling and working remotely;

• ·Must be working in the same company/field for more than 1 year;

• ·Must have an income of more than 20,000 AED per month;

• ·Must be over 18 year old (except for accompanying family members).

Visa validity & staying period

1 year (+ 1 year extension available)

Requirements

1. VISA APPLICATION FORM (Printed E-Form)

· Must be filled in online (e-form) and printed out → How to fill out the application form

2. ORIGINAL AND COPY OF PASSPORT

· Must be valid for 6 months from travel date

3. COPY OF UAE RESIDENCE VISA

· Must be valid for 6 months from application date (No exception)

· Virtual visa stamp holders must download the visa from ICP UAE app and print it.

**Abu Dhabi and Al Ain visa holders must apply from the embassy in Abu Dhabi

4. ORIGINAL AND COPY OF EMIRATES ID

5. ORIGINAL AND COPY OF PREVIOUS UAE VISATO PROVE RECENT 1 YEAR OF CONTINUOUS RESIDENCY

6. MEDICAL INSURANCE (INCLUDES COVERAGE IN KOREA AND WITH MINIMUM LIMIT OF 280,000 AED)

7. UAE POLICE CLEARANCE (ISSUED WITHIN 3 MONTHS)

8. NO OBJECTION LETTER FROM THE UAE VISA SPONSOR

· Must mention the purpose of visit in detail

· Must include applicant’s full name, passport number, nationality, position and salary

· Must have the name of the authorized signatory, contact information and job title

· Must have original stamp and signature

**For applicants whose visa sponsor is not a company (such as domestic workers/husband’s visa/father’s visa, etc.), attach sponsor’s passport copy along with the letter above

**Holders of partner visa/golden visa/self-sponsored visa must still present a letter explaining the detailed purpose of visit

11. COMPANY TRADE LICENSE / BUSINESS REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE

12. PAYSLIP WITH COMPANY STAMP (RECENT 6 MONTHS)

13. ORIGINAL AND LATEST 6 MONTHS UAE BANK STATEMENT WITH BANK STAMP

· Online bank statements are not acceptable

· Must be issued within the last 2 weeks

· Other proof can also be added as a supporting document

Requirements for accompanying family members

1 - 8. SAME AS THE ABOVE

9. ORIGINAL AND COPY OF (UAE MOFA ATTESTED) FAMILY RELATION CERTIFICATE IN ENGLISH

10. COPY OF THE MAIN APPLICANT’S F-1-D VISA

**UAE POLICE CLEARANCE (under 14 years no need) - If applicant cannot submit it, you must prove why & submit the Police Clearance from the last country of residence.
