  IMPORTANT NOTICE : NEW PROCEDURE TO MAKE VISA APPOINTMENT


A.    There are two types of method of making appointment with us.

     - Online booking system for only TOURIST VISA(Follow A-1).

     - Email booking system for NON-TOURIST VISA(Follow A-2).

B.    Please carefully read the appointment procedure for each type of visa below to avoid any confusion for your visit.

C.    Walk-ins are not allowed. 



  APPLICATION PROCESS  


A-1.   FOR TOURIST VISA ONLY

* if the appointment opening date falls on a weekend or a public holiday, it will be opened on the next business day.


○ Appointment slots for visits scheduled from the 1st to the 15th of each month will be open for appointment starting from the 16th of the previous month, 8:30am.

    (For example, appointments for visits between June 1st and June 15th will open at 8:30 am on May 16th)


○ Appointment slots for visits scheduled from the 16th to the end of each month will be open for appointment starting from the 1st of the respective month, 8:30am.

    (For example, appointments for visits between June 16th and June 30th will open at 8:30 am on June 1st)


○  After reading the instruction on our consulate official website, visit http://g4k.go.kr for visa appointment 'Reservation to visit a diplomatic mission' > Log in(Member or Non-Member) >  Check availability and Make an appointment.


A-2.   ALL THE NON-TOURIST VISA TYPES(INCLUDING BUSINESS VISA)

       : Please make visa appointment via the dedicated email address.

   * When you send us an Email, please attach below details.

 * Failure to adhere to the designated appointment process based on the desired visa 

    type may result in the cancellation of the visa reservation.

 * When applying for a visa, ensure all required documents(as separately instructed on

    Consulate’s official website) are thoroughly prepared, as any deficiencies or 

    omissions may lead to visa application rejection, with all responsibilities falling on 

    the applicant.


  ※ Bookings without exact information will be cancelled automatically.


B.     Visit us in person on your confirmed appointment date with the below:

       1. Required documents (as per the visa type)

              * Document list: https://overseas.mofa.go.kr/ae-dubai-en/brd/m_24986/list.do

* Document Validity: UAE Company letter (within 1 month) / Bank Statement (within 2 weeks) / All other documents (within 3 months)

* Document Language: must be in English/Korean ONLY. If it is written in Arabic, have it translated first then submit both documents.

       2. Visa fee

* We accept EXACT CASH ONLY (no change/no cards)


C.    Come back on your visa collection date (as mentioned on your receipt).

       : No urgent visa.

       : Visa process takes 7 calendar days from the date you submitted your documents.

       : The original passport will be kept for the whole visa process duration.

       : In case the application gets denied, there will be no refund of fees and the documents will not be returned.

 


  WHO CAN APPLY VISA THROUGH THE CONSULATE GENERAL OF THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA IN DUBAI?

 

A.   UAE Nationals

B.   Non-UAE Nationals who meet the below conditions:

     : Holders of UAE Residence Visa (except Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Abu Dhabi and Al Ain Visa holders can apply through Korean Embassy in Abu Dhabi) with remaining 6 months visa validity;

     : For some nationalities, aside from the above condition, they must also have a UAE residence visa continuously in the most recent 2 years.

C.    Previously rejected applicants can only apply after 3 months from the last refusal.


 


  DISCLAIMER

 

A.   Visa fee is NOT REFUNDABLE even if the application was denied or cancelled.

 

B.   Even if you have a Korean visa, you can still be denied entry to Korean soil should an immigration officer find certain requirements unsatisfactory after their inspection.
