 □ Ambassador Seong Deok Yun chaired the 10th meeting of the WTO Working Party on the Accession of Uzbekistan, held on Friday, June 13, 2025

    ㅇ At this meeting, Uzbekistan emphasized its goal to complete its accession to the WTO by the 14th WTO Ministerial Conference. Many Members attending the meeting expressed their support for Uzbekistan’s efforts to join the WTO

□ Korea has consistently supported Uzbekistan’s accession efforts, with Korean Ambassadors serving as chairs of the Working Party since its second meeting. Through these efforts, Korea has also contributed to strengthening the WTO’s multilateral trading system.
