★ (From June 8, 2022) Quarantine Exemption for All Overseas Entrants & Q-Code Guide

Guidelines related to Quarantine Exemption for All Overseas Entrants(from June 8, 2022)


Korean quarantine authorities have notified the following changes due to the reorganization of Quarantine Management Flow Chart for Overseas Entrants effective from June 8, 2022.


※ From June 8, 2022 onwards, quarantine exemption will be extended to all travellers including unvaccinated individuals.


☆ ​With effect from 03 September 2022, all inbound travellers are exempted from presenting a negative pre-departure COVID-19 test result during entry into Korea. This will include travellers who will depart from a 3rd country on 02 September 2022 and arrive in Korea on 03 September 2022, 0000hrs onwards.



■ Exemption from quarantine for all overseas arrivals (from June 8, 2022)

 ㅇ (Existing) Isolation of those who have not completed COVID-19 vaccination


 (Change) Exemption from quarantine for all overseas arrivals (regardless of vaccination status)


  ※ Before entering South Korea, registering Q-Code (https://cov19ent.kdca.go.kr/cpassportal/) is still recommended as a support program designed to provide rapid quarantine services to those entering Korea. 

 


■ (Post-Entry) Negative Pre-departure Covid-19 Test Result Requirement (Still Mandatory)

 ㅇ The PCR test duty within 1 day after entry is ​still valid
